Call for Posters
We are happy to invite posters under two categories: (a) Student Poster Session (for undergraduates, graduate students and post-doctoral researchers), (b) Industry Poster Session (for utilities, vendors, consultants and other professionals) in the flagship 2025 IEEE Electrical Power and Energy Conference (EPEC 2025) to present at the conference! Details as follows:
The student poster session will give academic researchers the opportunity to share their latest research results and get early feedback through an exchange of ideas with conference participants. Topics of interest should be aligned with the conference tracks, available at https://epec2025.ieee.ca/tracks/
IMPORTANT DATES
- Submission Due: June 25, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: July 25, 2025
- Author Registration Deadline and Camera-Ready Abstract: August 15, 2025
POSTER SUBMISSION
Submit a 1-page extended abstract in IEEE 2-column format via EDAS. All submissions will be peer-reviewed for acceptance. The official conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore will include all accepted and presented abstracts.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION
Posters must be presented by one of the registered co-authors. Posters submitted to this call should contain unpublished, original ideas and not be abbreviations of published papers. Accepting and presenting a poster containing original ideas at EPEC 2025 will not prevent authors from publishing a complete version of their ideas in future conferences and journals.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
A student is required to register at the same rate as a student attendee to represent the poster,
- $375 (IEEE) / $475 (non-IEEE),
unless you are already registered as a full-paper author. Maximum one poster per student.
Students must bring their own printed poster (91 × 121 cm | 36 × 48 inches).
The industry poster session will give utilities, vendors, consultants and other professionals the opportunity to present their latest projects, share state-of-the-art in their field, and exchange ideas with participants, without the need for paper submissions.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Submission Due: September 15, 2025 (or until full)
- Notification of Acceptance: September 25, 2025 (or earlier)
- Author Registration Deadline: October 5, 2025
POSTER SUBMISSION
To propose a poster, please send an email to info.epec2025@gmail.com with the subject line “Industry poster submission”. Include the 1) title, 2) author(s) and affiliation, and 3) 100-200 word abstract (which may be in the body of the email). Posters must be non-commercial.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
At least one of the poster authors must register as an industry poster or author registrant
- $775 (IEEE) / $875 (non-IEEE)
Maximum one poster per registrant. Presenters must bring their own printed poster (91 × 121 cm | 36 × 48 inches).
